A journey of discoveries: Art at SEESPITZ
We find that art is not only intended to be admired in museums and at exhibitions, but should also enrich and beautify our daily lives.
SEESPITZ**** offers you genuine art enjoyment included in the price – simply tastefully integrated into the hotel operation. The objects of modern art have been selected with expertise and arranged accordingly. Thus they harmonise outstandingly with the special Alpine elements of the hotel such as, e.g. the original farmhouse parlours from Klausen and the Martelltal as well as Bozen.
Chuckle about the poster by Fernando Botero, with its ample protagonists in their naive figurativeness (right), and the characters by Armin Gehret (far left). Or marvel at the elegant lamps, designed by Mario Botta in a strictly rationalistic style.
“Kaufmann desert house II”, the famous photography by American jet-set photographer Slim Aarons of the 1950s to 1970s, hangs on the wall of the entrance area of the red house. His credo: “taking photos of attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places“. In any case: it is an interesting photo and perfectly staged.
The stairwells of the hotel impart an impression of Alpine tourism advertising of the past century thanks to the collection of Wilhelm Häußlerposters. Have a look while you walk past, and enjoy the lovely exhibition posters (with info texts).
A large number of unique and artful items and exhibits are displayed throughout our hotel, giving it its very special flair. Come and discover its secrets for yourself. It’s worth it!
