The Buchenberg-Alm (1.140 m)
The Buchenberg-Alm is located on a scenic panoramic plateau of the Buchenberg Mountain and offers a fantastic view across the surrounding landscape, with its beautiful lakes and castles.
A house speciality is the utilisation of fresh regional products and home-baked breads and pastries. We also recommend the Kaiserschmarrn (sugared pancake with raisins).
When approaching by car, the journey starts from SEESPITZ Hotel via Füssen, heading in the direction of Munich, right up to the town entrance of Buching. Here you can park at the chairlift. The time needed for travelling is approx. 15 minutes.
Starting from the parking space, you can reach the Buchenberg Mountain via four different hiking tours (Bachweg, Kulturenweg, Forstweg) or by foot via a road (not for private vehicles) in approx. one hour. Alternatively, you can also use the double chairlift.

The business hours are from 09:00 a.m. to 06:00 p.m. daily, with tobogganing until 10:00 p.m. Overnight stays on the alpine pasture are also possible.
